Missing You, Ron
Today marks the 2-month anniversary since my sweet Ron went home to be with the Lord. I miss him so much. Words can’t properly express the pain of losing him. He was, without a shadow of a doubt, the love of my life. I’m grateful to have loved and been loved by him. I will treasure that all the days of my life.
Ron and I had plans. He was a chicken farmer. We had planned to go to Ardmore, Oklahoma in January. He said that he had gone there previously and did very well selling chickens. We had planned to try other cities as well. We both wanted to visit Silver Dollar City. We had planned to go there this summer. My family has an annual family vacation. I mentioned this to Ron. He wanted to be a part of this trip. I was excited for Ron and me to go.
Our wedding was scheduled for December 20th. We had planned to have a small wedding at the church. Return to his home the following day and begin our lives together. But none this would ever take place.
About a week before our nuptials, Ron’s truck was having issues. We had decided that I would pick him up at his home. We'd return to the Oklahoma City area and marry. It all seemed so simple. But when I arrived at his house, something was amiss. I won’t go into details. There is currently an ongoing investigation. But I will say that Ron had to be rushed to the hospital and died later that evening. Foul play is suspected. We are currently waiting for the autopsy results.
I miss you, Ron. Our relationship may have not made since to others, but it made since to God and us. I can’t thank God enough for bringing you into my life. You taught me what it feels like to be loved. You saw my beauty both inside and out. You made me believe I could do anything. I miss and love you so much.
